First introduced in 1999, the MF-103 12-Stage Phaser featured two comprehensive modular functions: a 6-stage/12-stage voltage-controlled Phaser and a voltage-controlled wide-range Low-Frequency Oscillator (LFO). Conceptualized by Bob Moog and his skilled engineering team, the MF-103 drew inspiration from the original Moog modular synthesizers, tailored to manipulate, modulate, and enhance a wide array of audio sources like guitars, vocals, synthesizers, and more.

The MF-103 Stage Phaser has been faithfully reincarnated as the MF-103S, capturing not just the distinct enveloping sound of its predecessor but also showcasing the dynamic way its parameters interact to deliver a rich musical experience.
